The story of this sencha is a story of a search, a search for the perfection. Single-cultivation sencha came into popularity a few years back, and there are many to try in the Rishe Tea range, but for Okumidori there was no choice but to wait until now... it took without exaggeration a hundred tastings and a thousand cups before I stumbled upon a melt-in-your-mouth Okumidori Sencha that met my requirements for the way it was grown, and at the same time put a blissful smile on my face after the first sip full of freshness and umami.
