Ceremonial matcha by Master Sakamoto. Made from the Saemidori / Haruto cultivar, which even more enhances the flavour. Instead of the usual tencha, Master Sakamoto uses his Gyokuro, from which this matcha is slowly milled to the finest powder on a stone mill with the utmost care and attention.
For many years I have considered matcha to be the perfect energizing drink and an essential prop for a tea ceremony. It wasn't until Matcha Sae that my eyes were opened and I understood that with a tea like this, the tea ceremony is not just about me making tea. I am using the tea ceremony to prepare yourself first and foremost to be able to enjoy the Tea and let it fully take effect.
After the first sip of this matcha, you literally feel a flood of green energy - and a whole wide range of flavours that are subtle but assertive. Delicate.
